Growing through every opportunity
Hands-on technical work inside and outside the classroom.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology · Terre Haute, IN
Created, modified, and optimized mechanical components using SolidWorks. Designed multi-part assemblies using mates and constraints to ensure proper fit and function. Produced professional 2D technical drawings with accurate dimensions and annotations. Performed basic stress analysis to evaluate structural integrity and design performance.
Springboro High School · Springboro, OH
Conducted human-centered engineering research focused on accessibility, usability, and social equity. Collected and analyzed survey data to inform design recommendations using human factors principles. Proposed engineering improvements incorporating ergonomics, public health, and accessibility standards. Collaborated with faculty and external PhD researchers for feedback on methodology and conclusions.

ProAmpac · [Plant Location]
Worked across nine hands-on R&D projects spanning mechanical design, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, sheet metal design, and CNC machining fundamentals. Collaborated directly with senior engineers, plant floor technicians, and outside vendors to design, prototype, and implement solutions for production equipment. Also gained exposure to Siemens Solid Edge as a secondary CAD platform alongside SolidWorks.
Key skills demonstrated: CAD modeling (SolidWorks & Siemens Solid Edge), reverse engineering, 3D printing / rapid prototyping, sheet metal design, CNC machining, machine safety guarding, technical drafting.
Working with senior engineers, plant floor technicians, and outside vendors reinforced the value of active communication, hands-on troubleshooting, and iterative testing. The internship confirmed a genuine interest in R&D — the blend of design, prototyping, and real-world problem solving. Next up: gaining experience with injection molding for higher-resolution prototypes.
